Reconsideration – TEST

Reconsideration #

What is a Reconsideration? #

A reconsideration is a process that allows you to ask Access to Work to review a decision that you disagree with. This might relate to the support you have been awarded, a request that has been declined, or a decision that does not fully reflect your needs.

A reconsideration gives you an opportunity to explain why you believe the decision should be reviewed and to provide any additional information that may support your case.

When might you request a reconsideration? #

You may wish to request a reconsideration if:

  • Support has been refused
  • You have been awarded less support than expected
  • Important information has not been taken into account
  • Your circumstances have not been fully understood
  • You believe the decision does not accurately reflect your needs
  • Renewal
  • Access to Work
  • DWP
  • Workplace Needs Assessment
